Its a nice piece of software to have around when you need it. For example I had some 30-06 that I reloaded back in 2012, I wanted to know if it was safe to use in a gun I just purchased that is sensitive to certain pressures, I have a spreadsheet with all my past loading and plugging that data into Quickload let me know the ammo was pretty safe to use. Enhancements have been made, and all data is included.Ī side note: I use Quickload as a way to check a given loads estimated pressure, of course it is not exact but it is close enough. BTW the new version is easier to use than the old/torrent version.

This coming from someone who hates spending money on software, if I can find a free alternative I usually do, but after trying out Quickload at a friends I was sold. There are some programs/web pages that provide some load data and/or ballistic data, but IMHO nothing compares to Quickload, for me it is worth the money and getting used to using (it is a bit archaic but it works).
